Award interpretation

We utilise modern software to accurately administer awards and their shift penalties and overtime rates. When you come on board with APS Payroll, we make it our responsibility to stay ahead of the awards and any changes or updates.

Every award classification includes variables such as:

Awards

The minimum wages and conditions an employee is entitled to are set out in awards (also known as modern awards). Awards do not apply when a business has an enterprise agreement or other registered agreement covering the employee.

Awards apply depending on the industry or the job. Enterprise awards apply to specific businesses.
